Remember the cool movies like the original Robin Hood, the great stars and shows that we used to watch? Now I’ll grant you the new television shows are awesome and I love them. The Mentalist is my personal favorite along with Sons of Anarchy, but I’m sorry, for swashbuckling and westerns, theres nothing like those older ones.
Robin Hood with Errol Flynn still makes me chuckle. It doesn’t have all those special effects and cool things we’ve got today but its a feel good movie and you can’t beat those kinds of things.
Whether you’re 16 or 60 a great movie and a bowl of popcorn makes you feel good and if the movie is one of those where the good guys win in the end, well I’m there. The ones with death and destruction at the end, .. hey we can find that in the real world.. give me a happy ending movie any day.Amazon video on demand gives me those options in a way that most other movies sites aren’t . I can get things like older westerns, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, or even Errol Flynn.
Amazon Video on demand offers old movies, older televion like the A-Team, the Flintstones for the kids and even new stuff like SOA, SpongeBob or multiple other things. From horror to adventure to National Geographic documentaries you can just find it all here.
Second place we go is rather limited in selection but its free. You can only watch it online, but you’re going to find a lot to watch, although you can not download and I do like the ability to keep them on my pc legally. That site is HULU.com. Its a great pick for some older stuff, its always free. The lmitations are there, but if you’re saving a buck, watch some television and movies on hulu.com and do it for nothing.
Amazon video on demand is a great place to get online. I love their movies, but what’s more importnat to me is that is cheap, safe, and you can get just about anything at all. Perfect for those of us who don’t want to fight the theater crowd or drive to the video store on a winter day, Amazon movies on demand offer a little of everything. I don’t like recommending things that aren’t a good bet for older users or new surfers. If you want to get the straight deal, pay a small fee and watch movies on your PC, then Amazon is the place for you. We’ve personally seen just too many of the other sites that aren’t legal, or just dont’ have the selection, or they charge you an arm and a leg for membership.
I like sites that have free membership, charge me a small fee for the movie or television … let me either choose to rent or to buy.. and have no hidden agenda. and thats Amazon Video on Demand.
You can buy television episodes for about a dollar or rent a movie for as little as 2.99. You don’t have tio return it, the movie player is simple, you just download it, and its free, and you can pay for your movies with a credit card or a paypal account. Whats more you dont’ have to download Amazon video on demand if you dont’ want to. You can choose to just watch it from their site and be able to watch it repeatedly the same way then download it later if you like.
Between my family we’ve used Amazon more than 200 times to buy or rent movies with no added charges, nothing removed from our account that should not have been and even the most new computer user hand no problem at all downloading the movie player or the movies. That means it is great for new users, for older computer users who are new to computers and even for the kids to operate.
Does it sound like I’m impressed. LOL most of you know I don’t recommend very many things but I do recommend this.. Its perfect for those of us who just want a good movie without channel flipping for two hours to find it.
