Nearly every computer, from the huge super computer to the video game system has some kind of operating system.

Some of the most common operating systems that you’re going to come across are Mac, Windows, (windows 95, windows 98, Windows 2000,Windows ME, Windows XP and Windows Vista)Linux (also with multiple “flavors” including Red Hat, Ubuntu etc)

For the most part, Windows has the biggest share of the Operating Systems sold for desktop computers,
however server like to use Linux or another Unix type system generally.
